      Light Requirements

Your Lemon Button Fern will grow best with consistent, bright sunny light. Many people put their Lemon Button Fern in a window with a sheer curtain. East or West window is best.

      Water Requirements

Water when the top 1-2 inches of the soil is dry, then thoroughly water until the water drains into the saucer. Empty the saucer if the water level is high so as not to drown the roots. The worst thing you can do to your Lemon Button Fern is to over water it.

      Humidity Preference

Lemon Button Fern will appreciate you misting its leaves to help to keep the pests (damaging insects) from making themselves at home on the leaves. Use a pebble tray or humidifier to help boost humidity in dry areas.

      Optimum Temperature

The Lemon Button Fern enjoys average room temperatures of 60-80 degrees. Avoid temperatures below 40 degrees, sudden temperature drops, or cold drafts.

      Plant Food

For best results, feed your plant every month during the spring and summer with diluted liquid fertilizer. No fertilizer is necessary during the winter when plant growth naturally slows.

      Additional Care

Lemon Button Fern requires little additional care and typically does not require pruning except to remove old leaves as they fade. For even growth, rotate the plant a little when you water.

      Toxicity

This is an ornamental plant and not recommended for either human or animal consumption. Plants are not intended for human or animal consumption; keep out of reach of children and pets.
