      Light Requirements

Your Palm will grow best with consistent, bright sunny light. Many people put their Palm in a window. East or West window is best.

      Water Requirements

Water when the top 1-2 inches of the soil is dry, then thoroughly water until the water drains into the saucer. Empty the saucer if the water level is high so not to drown the roots. The worst thing you can do to your Palm is to over water it.

      Humidity Preference

Palm will appreciate you misting its leaves to help to keep the pests (damaging insects) from making themselves at home on the leaves. Use a pebble tray or humidifier to help boost humidity in dry areas.

      Optimum Temperature

The Palm enjoys average room temperatures of 60-80 degrees. Avoid temperatures below 60 degrees, sudden temperature drops, or cold drafts.

      Plant Food

For best results, feed your plant every month during the spring and summer with diluted liquid fertilizer. No fertilizer is necessary during the winter when plant growth naturally slows.

      Additional Care

Palm requires little additional care and typically does not require pruning except to remove old leaves as they fade. For even growth, rotate the plant a little when you water.

This is an ornamental plant and not recommended for either human or animal consumption.
