Meet the Dieffenbachia, one of the easiest of all houseplants to grow.  This low-maintenance plant prefers consistent,  bright, sunny light, and to be watered when soil is dry, about once a week.  The Dieffenbachia is not pet-friendly, toxic if ingested, and may cause stomach upset.
